The problem first, the technology after
Nobody has ever called us because they wanted “some software”. They call because they are losing hours, losing orders or losing customers. That is where we start.
We started when the internet in Italy was a curiosity and websites were written by hand. Since then we have lived through every technological fashion and learned to spot which ones actually mattered. Artificial intelligence, this time, actually matters.
I started building websites when connections were measured in kilobits and nobody knew what a search engine was. Since then I have seen everything come and go: portals, the e-commerce boom, social media, mobile, and now artificial intelligence. I have learned exactly one thing, and it applies to all of them: technology is worth having when it removes a problem for the people doing the work. If it adds one, however elegant it is, it is wasted time. That is the criterion I use to decide what to propose to clients and what to advise against, even when advising against means invoicing less.

Behind Inginet there is a group of people chosen one at a time: backend and frontend developers, people who work on data and AI, interface designers, people who look after content and translation in the five languages, people who shoot photo and video, people who run campaigns. Nobody hands your project to someone else halfway: whoever starts with you, finishes with you.
We pick technology by the problem, not by fashion: static sites generated where maximum speed and security matter, PHP/Laravel and Node.js applications for management systems, relational databases, language models connected to company data for the AI features, infrastructure on European servers. And we maintain what already exists, WordPress included, when rebuilding is not worth it.

If a request makes no sense for your business we say so, with reasons. A wrong project accepted is a client lost the following year.
A panel an employee can use without a training course takes more effort than one crammed with features. That effort is worth making.
Direct number, WhatsApp, email. When something breaks you don’t need a ticket portal: you need someone who answers.
The first lines of code and the first jobs for local businesses, long before having a website was normal.
The business takes shape and structure, with the first dynamic sites and the first custom management software.
Software for hotels, holiday homes and rentals arrives, with synchronisation to the booking portals.
Clients start selling to and hosting foreign customers: everything we build becomes multilingual by default.
We design and develop a complete nationwide marketplace, with automation and content translation.
Agents and automations become a permanent part of client projects, connected to the systems they use every day.
The office is in Maglie, in the province of Lecce, southern Italy. You are very welcome, ideally by appointment so we can take the time to talk properly. Clients further away we look after by video call with no difference in quality.
One fixed point of contact for the whole job, backed by the specialists it needs. You are not passed between departments and you never start explaining from scratch again.
Because well-built software with poor visual material does not sell. Handling it directly means we don’t depend on third parties for timing and can deliver work that is coherent from start to finish.
